YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISM – DEVELOPING AN INCLUSIVE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT EMOTIONAL REGULATION AND RESILIENCE

This course will look at the impact that a positive and inclusive school environment can have on emotional regulation for students with autism. Understanding of potential pressure points during the day: looking at the full school day and where the potential difficulties may lie and considering transitions, both in school and at home. We will also examine how an inclusive school can address these pressure points, providing a unique research and evidence-based approach to practical solutions.
